Divorce via Diia: Government launches online service from 2026.
According to inkorr.com: The government of Ukraine announces the possibility of divorce through the Diia app, which will be available from 2026 for couples without shared minor children.
As reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes to the legislation that will allow divorce to be conducted online.
'Divorce can be done quickly and online. The service will appear in Diia in 2026 and will be available for couples without minor children,' Svyrydenko wrote.
The implementation of this new procedure will simplify the divorce process, as earlier couples had to visit the Registry Office and submit documents in person. Now everything can be done online, without leaving home and avoiding queues.

Moreover, the app will feature push notifications regarding access to citizens' personal data. A new service 'Basic Social Assistance' for low-income families will also be introduced, as well as a function for the 'eRestoration' program that allows for the submission of reports on completed construction work.
Thus, the introduction of the possibility of divorce through Diia in 2026 will significantly simplify the divorce process, eliminating the need to visit official institutions.
