Ukraine's Intelligence Warns Zelensky of Imminent Large-Scale Russian Strike on Cities.
Russia Prepares for Another Massive Offensive
According to Espreso.tv: Ukrainian intelligence has alerted President Volodymyr Zelensky that Russian forces are actively preparing for a new wave of large-scale attacks on Ukrainian towns and communities. During a call with the chancellor, Zelensky relayed these findings and stressed the urgent need for allied cooperation in supplying anti-ballistic missile systems, stating that
“anti-ballistic defense is the top priority”.
In a separate discussion with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, the president also addressed measures to counter ballistic threats. The heightened activity of Russian strategic aviation points to preparations for renewed massive bombardments across Ukraine. Earlier, military spokesperson Ihnat had warned of potential fresh strikes, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
Anticipated Developments and International Backing
Kyiv expects a key cluster to open in June, which could significantly bolster the country's ability to meet these emerging challenges. The atmosphere remains tense as Ukrainian authorities continue to focus on strengthening defense capabilities and fostering international cooperation.
This intelligence highlights the escalating threat from Russia, compelling Ukraine and its partners to take decisive action to reinforce defensive systems. With the aggressor posing a constant danger, global support—especially the provision of military hardware and air defense systems—has become critical to protecting Ukrainian cities. The current situation demands coordinated international efforts to prevent further attacks and safeguard civilians.
