According to The Sun: Former Premier League referee David Coote appeared in court for the hearing of a case in which he was found guilty of creating an indecent video involving a 15-year-old boy. The 43-year-old man was charged on August 12 of last year following an investigation conducted by Nottinghamshire police. This occurred after his dismissal from the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) in December 2024.
