Ukraine's Offensive Against Russian Military and Logistics Infrastructure

According to Novyny.live: Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), in coordination with the country's Defense Forces, has carried out strikes on several Russian military assets. The targets included the 15th Arsenal of the Russian Navy, the Kronstadt Naval Base, and an oil depot in Ust-Labinsk. These operations are part of broader objectives set by Ukraine's President to degrade Russia's warfighting capabilities.

The attack on the 15th Arsenal, located in the Leningrad region, resulted in fires and secondary explosions. The Kronstadt Naval Base was also hit. At the Ust-Labinsk oil depot, a massive blaze erupted, engulfing at least three fuel storage tanks. According to Russian sources, these strikes have reduced domestic oil output by 400,000 barrels per day.

An SBU spokesperson stated: 'Carrying out the tasks assigned by the President of Ukraine, SBU Alpha Group fighters, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR), struck a number of critical military and logistics targets on Russian territory.'

Strategic Significance of the Attacks

These actions underscore Ukraine's intensified campaign against Russian military infrastructure as part of its defensive strategy. By targeting logistics hubs and naval arsenals, Ukraine aims to disrupt Russia's supply chains and operational readiness. The strikes also serve as a clear signal of Ukraine's resolve to continue its fight for security and independence.

Beyond destroying material assets, these operations demonstrate Ukraine's capacity to project force deep into Russian territory. Both sides are expected to continue escalating their military capabilities as the conflict enters a new phase of heightened intensity.
