Luke Littler on Bea Greaves: the new superstar will pose a threat to darting giants.
Littler on Greaves
According to The Sun: Luke Littler believes that Bea Greaves could do “serious damage” to well-known players if she decides to obtain a PDC Tour card.
The two met in the semi-finals of the World Youth Championship in Wigan, where “Bea and the dart” achieved an impressive victory with a score of 6-5.
GettyLess than 24 hours before this, Littler won against Luke Humphries in the final of the World Grand Prix, receiving a prize of £120,000.
This was Greaves' first victory over Littler, as she had previously lost to him in the August ProTour.
Now they may meet again in the ring.
Greaves successfully obtained a Tour card, allowing her to become a professional and participate in the biggest dart competitions. She may still decline this opportunity, but it is likely that she will compete at an elite level in 2026.
Littler's Comment
Littler noted: “There are many players on the ProTour and still many teenagers aged 14-15 who remain in the JDC. But as soon as they start competing in the Development Tour and try to get a card, it will be terrifying.”
“My good friend Charlie Manby qualified for the World Championship on Sunday. We played together for England in the WDF, and he is worth keeping an eye on.”
“Bea is another threat. If someone knows Bea, she does not really worry about this (getting a card). For me, now is the best time to take it, signing with Target Darts. She can do some serious damage if she faces me, such as Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries and others.”
“If she decides to get this card, it will be difficult for us!”id='6382659915112' data-video-id='6382659915112' data-account='5067014667001' data-player='default' data-usage='cms:WordPress:6.5.7:2.8.6:javascript' data-embed='default' class='video-js' data-application-id='' controls style='width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; right: 0; left: 0;'>
Bea Greaves has become a bright successor in the world of darts, gaining popularity among fans due to her impressive performances. After successfully obtaining a Tour card, her ambitions in this discipline may attract the attention of not only fans but also professionals in the sport.
Greaves' victory over Littler added new colors to the competitive atmosphere in the sport, where young talents are consolidating their positions. Everyone is eagerly awaiting the next competitions where these athletes may meet again in the ring.
