Serbia to Sell Ammunition to the EU for Security: What This Means for Ukraine.
According to inkorr.com: The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has announced that the country is ready to supply ammunition to the European Union, as it has significant reserves. He emphasized that signing a sales contract would be a substantial contribution to ensuring security in Europe. Serbia is actively engaging with European states in the military sector and is open to further cooperation.
'I do not want to be seen as someone who constantly supplies ammunition to warring parties, but ammunition is needed in Europe,' explained the Serbian leader.
Vucic also noted that Serbia remains militarily neutral but is ready to cooperate with European armies and fulfill its obligations within the framework of European security.
The country offers the European Union the sale of ammunition, which could be an important step in enhancing security levels on the continent. Should a contract be signed, it may resolve the issue of transferring this ammunition to Ukraine, as well as expanding Serbia's cooperation with European countries in the field of security.
Serbia's proposal to supply ammunition not only reflects the country's intentions to strengthen its economic ties with Europe but also highlights the relevance of security issues in the region. Amid growing threats, such an initiative could contribute to stability and the development of cooperation between EU states and Serbia.
