August recalculation of subsidies: who has decreased and who has increased payments.
According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian Pension Fund has announced another review of housing subsidy amounts for families that have experienced changes in income. This process occurs twice a year – in March and August – and is carried out automatically, without the need for application submission.
Changes in family incomes
In August this year, a recalculation was made for families whose incomes in the first and second quarters of 2025 significantly differed from the incomes in the third and fourth quarters of 2024. This data was taken into account when assigning subsidies in May.
Therefore, in families where financial conditions improved, payments decreased, while where income decreased, the subsidy increased.
The Pension Fund emphasizes that this automatic recalculation system allows for swift responses to changes and ensures a fair distribution of state aid.
Rechecking the amount of housing subsidies for families with new incomes ensures a prompt response to changes in financial status and equal opportunities for all beneficiaries of aid.
Thus, the implemented subsidy recalculation system promotes a fair distribution of state resources and helps families adapt to financial changes. This is an important step in supporting those who need it most, especially in conditions of economic instability.
