Crisis at Sheffield Wednesday
According to The Sun: The Sheffield Wednesday club is going through tough times, as they have no fit goalkeepers left for the next match. Starting goalkeeper Ethan Horvath was sent off at the end of the game in a 2-1 defeat to Charlton on Saturday. As a result, defender Liam Palmer had to put on gloves for the last minutes of the match, as Horvath was injured in a collision with Isaac Olaofe.
“This is really a tough situation for our club,” admitted one of the team representatives.
Now the team will have to find a way out of this difficult situation, as the next match is already on the horizon.
Such circumstances in the club can significantly complicate their path to success in the championship. Quick decisions and adaptation to new challenges will be crucial for the coaching staff and players. In the coming days, it will become clear what steps they will take to solve the goalkeeper problem and how this will affect their further performances in the season.
