While oranges are traditionally associated with Christmas, symbolizing the generosity of Saint Nicholas, Terry's Chocolate Orange has become another festive treat.
Consumers can now purchase it at a very attractive price, as Tesco is running a promotion for club card holders.
Deal from Tesco
Members of the supermarket's loyalty program can buy this popular dessert for only £1.
The 145-gram ball of Terry's Chocolate Orange has been reduced by 50% as part of a limited sale.
However, club card holders must hurry, as the deal ends on Tuesday, October 14.
Those without a club card will pay £2 for these treats.
Although the price may remind one of days gone by, the size of the chocolate orange remains unchanged.
Terry's Chocolate Orange has become one of many products affected by 'shrinkflation', decreasing from 157g to 145g in recent years.
