Shoppers race to get their hands on rare Fanta flavour spotted on shelves at a major discount chain.
According to The Sun: SHOPPERS are actively on the hunt for a rare Fanta flavor that recently appeared on the shelves of one of the major budget retailers.
This discount chain is famous for its great discounts and wide assortment of interesting international food and drink products.
FacebookThe rare white peach Fanta was spotted at Home Bargains, where it’s usually only found in Japan.
The news about this soft drink has gained popularity on Facebook within the Food Finds UK Official group.
The soda is sold for just £1.59, and many people have already dubbed it 'the best flavor yet.'
One customer noted: 'One of the best, it has a light herb taste. I love Fanta in Asia.'
Another person added: 'I can only find these drinks in some Asian supermarkets and exotic snack shops for about $10 a bottle.'
This comes after Fanta launched the Raspberry Zero Sugar flavor in 2020, along with Fanta Zero Strawberry and Kiwi in 2022.
Recently, the company showcased Fanta Apple Zero Sugar, Fanta Raspberry Zero Sugar, and a limited edition of Fanta Tutti Frutti Zero Sugar.
However, not everyone was thrilled – some think the new flavors have gone 'a bit too far.'
One shopper described the apple variant as 'disgusting.'
These new flavors complement a wave of creative beverages that have appeared on the shelves this year.
Coca-Cola recently introduced Orange Cream, a mix of classic cola with orange and vanilla, available in both regular and sugar-free versions.
This drink will be available in the UK until the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Diet Cherry Coke is making a retro 1980s return to the US this summer, though launch details are currently limited.
Additionally, Coca-Cola is preparing to release a version of its original cola sweetened with cane sugar this fall.
Pepsi launched Wild Cherry & Cream in January, combining rich cherry and smooth vanilla flavors.
Pepsi is also entering the healthy beverage market with Pepsi Prebiotic Cola in Original and Cherry Vanilla flavors.
This new range will include cane sugar and added prebiotic fibers as the brand aims to meet the growing demand for gut-friendly soft drinks.
Food and beverage manufacturers often change recipes or withdraw products in response to shifts in consumer preferences. This can happen for various reasons, including government regulations such as the 'sugar tax' that prompt companies to adapt their offerings. Some manufacturers may also alter ingredients to cut costs by opting for cheaper alternatives, especially amid rising prices.
The emergence of the rare Fanta flavor reflects the ongoing consumer interest in novelties in the beverage world. In the competitive landscape between major brands like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, adapting to the changing market and consumer needs becomes ever more crucial. It serves as a reminder of how new flavors can quickly capture attention and become trends, especially among younger audiences.Read also
