Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk sharply reacted to statements by former German intelligence chief August Hanning about possible Polish involvement in the sabotage of the "Nord Stream-1" and "Nord Stream-2" pipelines.

"To all initiators and patrons of the 'Nord Stream-1' and 'Nord Stream-2'. The only thing you should do today is apologize and sit still," Tusk wrote.

Investigation of pipeline explosions continues

It should be noted that these comments appeared amid new details regarding the investigation of the pipeline explosions. On August 14, it became known that Germany had asked Poland to arrest a Ukrainian diving instructor suspected of being involved in the sabotage. The Polish prosecutor's office confirmed receiving a European arrest warrant but noted that the suspect left Poland for Ukraine in early July.
