Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

According to ТСН: In the night leading to today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a fuel base in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation, as well as a number of military targets of the Russian occupiers in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as part of measures to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian aggressor, Ukrainian units attacked the fuel base 'Zhytovska' in the Oktyabrsky district of the Volgograd region. This facility was used for supplying fuel to the occupying forces.

'The target has been hit. The extent of the damage is being clarified.'

Additionally, in the Zaporizhzhia region in the temporarily occupied territory, a warehouse of unmanned aerial vehicles from one of the units of the 19th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian armed forces was destroyed.

Strikes were also carried out on the enemy's drone control point in the Pokrovsk region of Donetsk.

Hits on Military Targets

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, other targets of the occupiers were also struck. In particular, a hit was recorded on the concentration of personnel of the 76th Air Assault Division in the settlement of Kurakhivka, the command observation post of the tank battalion of the same division in Hiriunk, and also on the command point of one of the units of the 41st Army of the Russian Federation in the Hiriunk area.

The General Staff emphasized that in all cases, the successful strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles on planned targets have been confirmed. Information on enemy losses is currently being clarified.

'The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue systematic actions to decrease the offensive and military-economic potential of the Russian occupying forces and compel the Russian Federation to cease armed aggression against Ukraine.'

It is worth noting that it was previously reported that on January 6, strike drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a fuel base in the city of Usman in the Lipetsk region.

These actions confirm Ukraine's active efforts to weaken Russia's military potential in the occupied territories. Attacks on strategic facilities provide not only tactical advantages but also demonstrate the determination of Ukrainian forces in the struggle to liberate their territories.
