According to UATV: On June 6, 2023, Ukraine's defense forces delivered a major blow against Russian occupying troops. Over a 24-hour period, they eliminated:
- 1,380 Russian soldiers
- three tanks
- 82 artillery systems
- more than 350 vehicles
In addition, Ukrainian air defenses shot down 2,046 drones, highlighting their growing effectiveness in countering aerial threats.
Overall Combat Losses of Russian Forces
Since the war began on February 24, 2022, Russia's total combat losses as of June 6, 2023, amount to roughly 1,372,270 personnel, with 1,380 of those killed in just the past day. The tally of destroyed equipment includes:
- 11,983 tanks
- 43,397 artillery systems
- 24,696 armored combat vehicles
- 1,405 air defense systems
- 436 aircraft
- 353 helicopters
Notably, Russia has lost 103,658 trucks and fuel tankers overall, 358 of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours. Tactical-level drone losses have reached 331,818 units, with 2,046 shot down yesterday alone. These figures illustrate the intense scale of fighting and its toll on the Russian military.
These results show that active combat operations in Ukraine continue, placing heavy pressure on Russian forces.
