Special operations forces destroyed a building with occupants in Kup'yansk: how it happened.
According to inkorr.com: Fighters of the 8th separate SSO regiment destroyed a building where occupants had taken refuge in the center of Kup'yansk, using TM-72 anti-tank mines. This was reported by the press service of the unit, referring to a video of their actions.
Reconnaissance and successful operation
During reconnaissance, the SSO group discovered the enemy in a building where they had a numerical advantage and fortified firing positions. The military successfully completed the task without losses. The building where the occupants were located was completely destroyed using TM-72 mines.
“During reconnaissance, the SSO group discovered the enemy in one of the rooms. The opponent will have an advantage over us and well-fortified firing positions. The SSO group came out of contact without casualties. The destroyed building, in which the enemy unit was defended, was demolished using TM-72 mines,” the report states.
Propaganda on TikTok
The Russian side launched a series of fake videos on TikTok, claiming 'full encirclement of Kup'yansk' by Russian troops. This video, created using artificial intelligence, shows 'UAF fighters' describing a 'critical situation' at the front.
The head of the communications department of the Joint Forces group, Viktor Trehubov, refuted these claims, stating that Russian troops control only the northern part of the city and are trying to break through to its center.
In the face of Russian propaganda on TikTok and social media, it is important to distinguish true information from fakes and to trust only verified sources.
The mentioned events highlight the tense situation in the region and the importance of information warfare. The experience of the SSO and their ability to respond quickly to threats demonstrates that the Ukrainian military is actively working to ensure security and protect territory. At the same time, false information circulating on social networks continues to challenge trust and social awareness.
