Sin Klychko recorded a double-double in the youth championship match of France.
The son of the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klychko, Maksym Klychko continues to impress with his achievements in the French basketball championship. In one of the matches, he scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, recording a double-double.
The 'Monaco' U-21 team, in which Klychko plays, finished second in the French Youth League, defeating 'Chalon/Saone' with a score of 77:65 in the final match of the season.
“Valencia” won the third title of champions of Spain, under the leadership of the captain of the Ukrainian national team, Alina Yagupova. In the final match, she scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
This is already Yagupova's second title with 'Valencia', which also won the Spanish Cup in the previous season.
Participation of Russia and Belarus in competitions postponed
The International Basketball Federation has decided to extend the suspension of Russian and Belarusian clubs and national teams from participating in tournaments. The issue will be addressed by the FIBA Executive Committee at its next meeting in August.
The decision to suspend was made due to Russian aggression against Ukraine, and the ban applies at both the international and club levels.
