According to inkorr.com: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi presented a report to President Volodymyr Zelensky on the current situation at the front, particularly focusing on the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian troops are concentrating their efforts.
According to the president, who shared the information on social media, the losses on the Russian side, including killed and severely injured, have exceeded 290 thousand servicemen in just eight months of this year. The occupiers have suffered the greatest losses in Donetsk, failing to achieve any of their strategic goals.
Stabilization at the Front Sections
Zelensky also reported that stabilization measures by Ukrainian troops are ongoing in certain sections of the front. 'I thank each unit that is ensuring replenishment of the
exchange fundfor Ukraine, we see relevant results every week,' he emphasized.
Situation Analysis and Future Plans
During the meeting, the situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction and the enemy's intentions were thoroughly analyzed, as well as the situation on the Sumy and Kharkiv borders. Based on the conclusions drawn, new diplomatic steps have been planned.
After analyzing the combat actions of the past week, the president noted a number of units, including the 1st, 33rd, 225th, and 425th assault regiments, the 79th and 82nd airborne assault brigades, the 92nd separate assault brigade, the 414th separate drone brigade, the 14th operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, and special operations forces units.
