The Situation in Kostiantynivka

According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has reported that Russian forces have amassed up to 145 personnel in the city of Kostiantynivka. According to his statement, on July 18, the enemy suffered 21 fatalities and 6 wounded in the area. During the fighting, Ukrainian forces struck six enemy shelters.

The Kostiantynivka axis remains one of the hottest sectors on the front line, with the enemy launching an average of 20 assaults per day. Syrskyi emphasized that

“Ukrainian defenders are tasked with protecting Kostiantynivka and inflicting maximum damage on the occupiers—and we are carrying out that mission.”
Ukraine’s defense forces are also continuing counter-sabotage operations in the region to maintain security and stability.

Why Kostiantynivka Matters

The situation in Kostiantynivka underscores the critical importance of this sector amid the ongoing conflict. The concentration of Russian troops and their relentless attacks signal the enemy’s intent to sustain offensive operations. At the same time, Ukrainian forces are working not only to hold the line but also to degrade the enemy’s combat capabilities.
