The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is at the front in one of the hottest directions

The Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, is currently at one of the hottest fronts. Information about this was made public in Syrskyi's post on Telegram.

Syrskyi noted that Ukrainian soldiers continue to steadfastly hold back the Russian aggressor, inflicting significant losses on him.

"Taking the opportunity, I awarded the soldiers of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade, who demonstrate resilience and professionalism, destroying the occupiers. I am proud of the heroism of Ukrainian defenders and protectors who bring our victory closer," he noted.

Also, Syrskyi made several decisions aimed at strengthening the resilience and effectiveness of our defense.

Let us recall that the Russian army occupied the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region. This information was confirmed by analysts of the Institute for the Study of War.

Earlier, the higher military command allowed the withdrawal of Ukrainian defenders from Vuhledar to preserve their personnel and combat equipment and to occupy new positions for future actions.

According to ISW, Ukrainian troops retreated in an organized manner from Vuhledar to avoid encirclement. Russian sources claim that the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces began at the end of September 30.

Additionally, Russian invaders continue to advance on Pokrovsk and Toretsk, trying to consolidate in these strategically important areas. Fighting continues, and the situation remains tense with numerous attempts by the enemy to increase their activity.

According to The Guardian, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin continues his strategy of capturing the entire Donetsk region, and the battle for the city of Pokrovsk may become the central event of his military campaign this year.
