The situation on the front remains difficult and is escalating - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported on Facebook that the situation on the front remains difficult and tends to escalate.
Syrskyi held a phone conversation with the commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, and informed him about the situation on the front line.
The situation remains difficult and tends to escalate. The enemy, using its numerical advantage, continues to conduct offensive actions and focuses its main efforts on the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions - he explained.
Syrskyi also stated that Ukraine has information on the preparation of North Korean military personnel to participate in combat operations on the side of Russian troops.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that the American side confirmed adherence to the commitments made regarding the supply of promised weapons and military equipment to the Ukrainian defense forces.
In October, the Ukrainian military, with the help of strike drone bombers, destroyed 52,000 enemy targets. Syrskyi reported this during a meeting with the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Vadym Sukharevskyi.
He also noted that the strike drone bombers were the most effective last month, completing over 7,000 missions.
