Ukrainians are actively advocating for the refusal of clan special pensions in our country. Their outrage has even manifested in the creation of a petition calling for the abolition of this type of pension, which was supported by the head of the financial committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danilo Hetmantsev. The petition was posted on the website of the Verkhovna Rada. The main idea of the petition's author, Victoria Huzieva, is that the difference in pension amounts ranging from 3,000 to 400,000 hryvnias is unjust and disgraceful. She calls for pensions to be equitable for all citizens of the country. For his part, Danilo Hetmantsev called for the prompt consideration of bill No. 12278, aimed at eliminating clan special pensions. He believes that a decent pension should be accessible to all pensioners in Ukraine, not just for certain selected categories of citizens.Ultimately, the initiative to abolish clan special pensions is gaining momentum in our country, and the support for such an idea from deputies is also palpable. The process of pension system reform could become a step towards ensuring a dignified old age for all Ukrainian pensioners.
