How long would you have spent in the USSR? An unusual test has appeared online.

The initiative 'Cultural Descent' has launched an unusual testing online to find out how many years one could have received for their activities during the USSR.

Currently, almost every Ukrainian has a blue and yellow flag or patriotic symbols, a book by Hrushevsky or Bahriany. This is what we are proud of now, and what could have been the reason for imprisonment or even execution in the Soviet Union. Take the test and find out - for how long you might have landed in a Soviet prison for what you love and consider right.

In the test, you can see the terms received by Svitlychny, Dziuba and other dissidents for being an integral part of Ukrainian identity.

And when you finish, remember that even today Russia is trying to pull us into USSR 2.0, and is repressing our citizens in temporarily occupied territories for their love for Ukraine.

In the comments under the post, Ukrainians started writing their results and noting how important it is to remind about the crimes of the Soviet government.

We remind you that recently the film 'BohesVilly' was released, which addresses the important issue of punitive psychiatry in the USSR. The events of the film unfold in the 1970s and tell the story of a young man, Andriy Dovzhenko, who ends up in a so-called specialized psychiatric hospital due to his love for banned music in the USSR. He has to choose: cooperate with the KGB and return to his family, or reveal the truth about dissidents who became victims of punitive psychiatry.

By the way, on January 6, Ukrainians celebrated the 87th anniversary of the birth of Vasyl Stus - a poet, dissident, and also 127 years ago Volodymyr Sosyura was born - a master of lyrical poetry, author of the famous work 'Love Ukraine'. 'Hlavkom' tells about the life path and creativity of these outstanding Ukrainian writers.
