I heard people burning under the rubble - a Kharkiv resident on the Russian strike.
As a result of a kamikaze drone attack by 'Shahed' in Kharkiv, Maria miraculously survived, finding herself under the rubble of a building in the Osnovyansky district. The incident occurred on the night of June 7 and led to many tragedies. This information was reported by the correspondent of Novyny.LIVE at the scene.
Maria's Experience
After the shelling, Maria found herself under the rubble of the building, where she spent about three hours. She recalls: 'I was in bed when it all happened. I curled up in a fetal position and barely managed to cover myself with a blanket. Then - silence, flames, and I stopped feeling my limbs.' According to Maria, the most horrifying moment was when she heard people burning alive. She also talked about the loss of her pet cat, who died from toxic smoke.
Unfortunately, due to the attacks by Russian troops on Kharkiv and seven other settlements in the region, one person was killed, and about 40 were injured, including children. The State Emergency Service also showed the first minutes after the Russian attacks on Kharkiv.
In the hotspot of the conflict, the situation remains tense, and people are suffering greatly from the devastating consequences of the war. The safety of the civilian population is under threat, and the authorities are taking measures to protect citizens from danger.
