Smartphone instead of TCC: Ministry of Defense announced the transformation of 'Reserve+'.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented a plan for the complete digitalization of military registration
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine introduced an ambitious plan for the complete digitalization of military registration.
At a briefing, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and his deputy Kateryna Chernohorenko talked about plans to transform the mobile app 'Reserve+' into a national recruitment center.
Our goal is to transform 'Reserve+' into a nationwide recruitment center and replace offline points, which are currently known as TCCs,' emphasized Umerov.
The key aim of the project is to replace traditional offline military registration processes with a modern digital tool. In 2025, it is planned to launch a system that will allow citizens to register via smartphone without physically visiting territorial recruitment centers (TCCs).
Chernohorenko detailed the technical aspect: verification will occur through Bank ID or confirmation of documents from the State Migration Service and the Unified State Demographic Register.
It is important to note that this does not involve the complete disbanding of TCCs. On the contrary, their transformation is planned: centers will be able to focus on strategic planning and expert work.
