Colquhoun removed a player from the tournament due to glasses camera: what happened.
Ban on using camera glasses
According to The Sun: Stuart Bingham was unable to wear glasses that record video during the Shoot Out tournament in Blackpool. The former world snooker champion, known for his videos on TikTok, approached the organizers requesting permission to use Meta glasses that stream images in real time during his entrance to the field.
"It would be cool, maybe I could show my fans how I prepare for the match," Bingham said.
Unfortunately, his request was denied as the organizers believe that such devices could affect the integrity of the game and create unpredictable situations.
This ban highlights the importance of adhering to the principles of fair play in professional competitions. On one hand, the idea of adding new technologies sounds interesting, but the organizers seek to avoid potential risks that may impact match outcomes. This raises discussions about the balance between innovation and traditional norms in sports.
