Ukraine uses British robot dogs with German camouflage in Donbas
According to the newspaper Bild, Ukraine uses more than 30 robot dogs from the United Kingdom in Donbas with German camouflage. These robots, known as BAD.2, help the military in areas of grueling battles where drones cannot penetrate.
Robot dogs navigate through trenches and bushes - where Ukrainian soldiers should not expose themselves to unnecessary danger and where drones can no longer see
These robot dogs with German camouflage are compact, sturdy, and maneuverable. They are operated by handlers and can penetrate places where aerial drones cannot reach. They conduct reconnaissance, locate booby traps, and identify the positions of occupying units, significantly reducing the risk for the Ukrainian military scouts.
These robot dogs are almost invisible thanks to the German camouflage from Concamo. According to Bild, they can move silently at speeds up to 15 km/h and operate within a 3.5 km radius from the enemy for up to 5 hours. The cost of such robots ranges from €4k to €8k, depending on the modification.
This is nothing compared to human life
The first robot dogs, Unitree Go2 Pro, were deployed near the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the outskirts of Toretsk. In addition, Ukrainian developers created a combat module with artificial intelligence called 'Predator,' which will be tested on the battlefield and put into serial production.
