Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, shared information about the situation in the Sumy region, where Russian occupiers shell from various types of weapons every day.According to him, daily attacks are ongoing in the region. Enemy forces are trying to break through without equipment but are not succeeding. Russian armed formations are shelling the Sumy region with mortars, artillery, and aviation, causing damage to infrastructure and civilian casualties. Recently, on Saturday, August 2nd, an attack by Russian invaders resulted in the death of one child and serious injury to a teenager. It is also worth noting that on Friday, August 1st, Russian troops attacked the Sumy region, shelling civilian infrastructure objects with drones.
