After the strike on Kyiv: taxi prices soared to 900 hryvnias for a ride.
According to ТСН: Taxi prices in Kyiv have sharply increased due to electricity supply problems after a massive strike on the capital and Kyiv region.
Cost of rides
According to information, to travel from the left bank of Kyiv to the right at 9 AM, one had to pay at least 718 UAH in the Bolt service and 628 UAH in Uklon.
A ride in Bolt from the "Chernihivska" station to Khreshchatyk cost at least 888 UAH, while in Uklon it was 789 UAH.
Transport collapse
Kyiv experienced a transport collapse due to enemy shelling and difficult weather conditions. People are forced to stand in huge lines for buses and minibuses, and it is especially difficult to move from the left bank to the right side of the capital. Residents are urged to use the metro only in extreme cases, as public electric transport is partially not operational in the city.
The transport situation in Kyiv poses serious challenges for residents who face difficulties in moving daily. The gradual restoration of electricity supply and normalization of public transport operations may help address these issues, but for now, Kyivans should be particularly careful and plan their trips in advance.
