US to ask Ukraine about the situation in Russia's Kursk region, - White House.
American officials plan to inquire with their Ukrainian counterparts about the details of the situation in Russia's Kursk region. This was reported by John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications of the National Security Council of the White House, during a briefing on August 7th.

According to Kirby, the US intends to contact their Ukrainian counterparts to gain a better understanding of the situation in Russia's border region. He also emphasized that the US position on the use of Ukrainian weapons remains unchanged; American weapons are provided to combat immediate threats across the border.
It is worth noting that since August 6th, the Russian side has been reporting attempts by Ukraine to cross the border of the Kursk region. Russian media and bloggers claim the presence of Ukrainian forces in the border zone. Russian President Vladimir Putin characterized the situation as a "provocation".
At the moment, the official Ukrainian side has not provided comments on the events in the Kursk region.
