Ukrainian Special Forces Strike Oil Depot and Marine Terminal in Crimea: Attack Details Emerge.
Strikes on Oil Depot and Terminal
According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces have confirmed carrying out attacks on an oil depot in the settlement of Yedi-Kuy and a marine oil terminal in Feodosia. These operations were aimed at degrading the capabilities of occupying forces. Known as the 'Semykolodezyanska' facility, the oil depot is located roughly 200 kilometers from the front lines and served as a transfer hub for storing fuel oil, diesel, and bitumen for the occupiers.
Facility Specifications
The 'Semykolodezyanska' site contains nine storage tanks, each with a capacity ranging from 700 to 3,000 cubic meters. Meanwhile, the marine oil terminal in Feodosia, situated approximately 250 kilometers from the combat zone, features seven tanks with capacities of 10,000 and 20,000 cubic meters. These strikes are part of a broader defense strategy, which also included damaging the Chongar Bridge and the Zuyivska Thermal Power Plant in Donetsk Oblast on June 7.
These attacks on the oil depot and terminal highlight a systematic Ukrainian effort to dismantle the occupiers’ logistics networks, potentially crippling their ability to sustain military operations. Such actions underscore the strategic importance of targeting critical infrastructure that supplies resources for warfare. The front-line situation remains tense, and these measures could prove pivotal in the broader context of the conflict.
