The horrific details of the liquidation of the former Russian national football player Bugayev have become known.
Former Russian national football team defender Alexey Bugayev suffered serious injuries during military operations, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. He had been in the combat zone for over two months and died in late November or early December. Relatives are waiting for the evacuation of his body and the opportunity to bury him.
Bugayev signed a contract with the occupiers even before he was released on charges of drug trafficking. He immediately went to the combat zone after his release and stayed there for two months. The last Time he was in contact with his relatives was in late November, when they congratulated his father on his birthday.
Alexey Bugayev is known as a former football player who played for the Russian national team and participated in the European Championships and the Super Cup. He also played for famous Russian clubs such as 'Lokomotiv', 'Tom', and 'Krasnodar'. Bugayev died at the age of 43.
