The Ukrainian Paralympic team finished their performances at the 2024 Games in Paris. On Sunday, September 8, the closing of the Olympic Games took place.

Ukrainian athletes who managed to win medals at the Paralympic Games are provided with cash rewards. These funds are allocated from the state budget through the Ministry of Youth and Sports as bonuses for achievements in Paris.

The amounts of cash rewards for Ukrainian Paralympians were identical to the amounts for Olympic athletes: $125,000 for a gold medal, $80,000 for silver, and $55,000 for bronze.

Highest prizes at the 2024 Paralympics

The leader in prize money among Ukrainian athletes at the 2024 Paralympics was swimmer Andriy Trusov. He will receive $550,000 for two gold and three silver medals.

Swimmers have the largest representation in the top 10 prize-winning places – nine athletes. In addition to them, fencer Olena Fedota-Isayeva and runner Igor Tsvetov entered the top 10.
