Standard, individual or with 'your' combination: how much will license plates cost Ukrainian drivers.

The main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced the types of license plates for vehicles.

These license plates are issued to all vehicles upon registration or re-registration in Ukraine. They contain a symbol of national affiliation, two letters of the registration region, four digits, and two letters of the series. The color of the symbols can be black or green for electric vehicles.

Cost of license plates:

• 350 UAH for cars
• 122 UAH for motorcycles

“American” license plates of a more square shape are also available for cars with a non-standard mounting location.

It is also possible to choose the desired combination of digits for an additional fee:

• three identical digits consecutively (7077) – 4800 UAH
• two consecutive pairs of identical digits (3344) – 18,000 UAH
• four identical digits (1111) – 60,000 UAH
• combination “0007” – 96,000 UAH

Individual license plates are attached along with standard license plates and can contain three to eight characters. The cost depends on the number of characters and graphic elements. Additionally, the cost of a license plate for cars and motorcycles is charged.

All types of license plates can be reserved online through the driver’s cabinet. Individual license plates are valid only on the territory of Ukraine.
