Starbucks makes big change to iconic Autumn drink as it returns to stores – and customers will be furious.
Return of the drink to Starbucks
According to The Sun: STARBUCKS has made significant changes to its beloved autumn drink, which is returning to coffee shops today.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is once again available on the menu.
The iconic drink is available again in coffee shops across the UKToday, it is only available to Starbucks Rewards members. For everyone else, it will be available from September 4.
However, coffee lovers should be prepared to pay 25 pence more this year for their Pumpkin Spice drink.
The price for the smallest size is £4.90, which is 25 pence more than £4.65 last year.
This is not the first time that Starbucks has raised the price of this beloved drink.
Last year, prices rose by 45 pence, and in 2022 they started at £3.65.
The Sun has reached out to Starbucks for comment.
This drink, associated with the autumn season, contains espresso blended with pumpkin spice sauce and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and a mix of spices: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
To purchase the drink today, you need to be a member of the Starbucks Rewards program.
This program allows customers to earn points on purchases, which can then be redeemed for free coffee or food, as well as gain early access to seasonal drinks before they hit the menu.
New drinks from Starbucks
This is not the only innovation for loyalty program members that they can try today.
The iced Pumpkin Spice Latte is also returning, with prices starting at £4.95.
The Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, which will contain coffee, milk, and ice, topped with whipped cream and spices, is again available starting at £5.50.
A new Caramel Macchiato with Pumpkin Spice will also appear on the menu for £4.90, which will contain pumpkin spice sauce and caramel drizzle on top.
An iced version of this drink will also be available for £4.95.
The entire range will be available to everyone from September 4.
