Start of the Volleyball Super League: Epiцентр-Podoliany U-20 achieved three victories.
According to inkorr.com: Last weekend, the new season of the Men's Super League of Ukraine 2025/2026 kicked off. This was announced by the Volleyball Federation of Ukraine through 'Hlavkom'.
This year, an important change took place: while last season matches were held in seven different cities, now all games will take place in one location - in Horodok, Khmelnytskyi region, where the club 'Epiцентр-Podoliany', a participant in the Challenge Cup, is located.
Changes in the lineup and results of the first round
The main triumph was the club 'Epiцентр-Podoliany U-20', which won three matches.
The number of participants decreased from ten to eight teams compared to the previous season. Some players remained, and new teams joined as well. The first half of the participants has already played their matches, while the second half will compete this week.
In second place was the team 'Reshetylivka', which showed good resistance to the young national team. The only team that lost all its matches was 'Burevisnyk'. Special mention should be made of Oleh Plotnytskyi, the former captain of the Ukrainian national team, who refused to shake hands with Russian volleyball players after a match in Japan.
The first round of the new season of the Volleyball Super League of Ukraine offered fans some interesting matches, and 'Epiцентр-Podoliany U-20' confirmed its status as the strongest team. The clubs are preparing for several weeks of competition in a single location in Horodok, where volleyball enthusiasts from all corners of the country will gather. In the coming days, the next matches will take place, and the team hopes to find new favorites among the participants.
The new season of the Super League promises to be exciting, as teams will focus on the battle for the championship in a single venue. All fans are eagerly awaiting matches that will bring new emotions and results. A decrease in the number of participants has also been noted, which may affect the dynamics and intrigue of the championship.Read also
