The state provides support to pensioners in the form of various payments and benefits. However, by violating certain rules, they may incur fines. The law 'On General Mandatory State Pension Insurance' specifies what exactly can lead to fines in August.Pensioners should avoid fines by reporting important changes in a timely manner – such as a change of surname or postal address. Otherwise, the Pension Fund may reduce the amount of the payment or even withhold part of the funds until the 'debt' is fully settled.Ukrainian pensioners are granted free travel on public transport, but only if they have their pension certificate. The absence of such a document may result in a fine, so it is advisable to always carry it with you to take advantage of the benefit.
