Strict fines for noise will be introduced in Kyiv: who is at risk of large fines.
According to inkorr.com: The problem of nighttime noise violations is becoming increasingly serious for residents of large cities in Ukraine. In Kyiv, in particular, cases of drifting have recently been recorded, causing outrage among residents. The government plans to adopt bill No. 9564, which proposes strict fines for those who violate noise norms, especially during the nighttime. Drivers who disregard these norms may lose significant amounts of money and even their driver's licenses.
Resonant cases
The reason for the resonance were cases of drifting in the city center, particularly during mourning events. Experts remind that such loud noises not only violate public order but can also be associated with the operation of hostile drones - which is especially alarming in conditions of martial law.
Technical difficulties and recommendations
The bill has not yet been implemented due to technical problems such as a lack of equipment and qualified personnel for monitoring. Although there are other initiatives in the field of motorsport, they currently remain at the idea stage. Car owners should be prepared for increased control and possible legislative changes.
It is recommended to check and, if necessary, replace exhaust systems with certified ones, keep an eye on legislative news, and be prepared for strict police checks regarding the noise level of cars.
In the coming months, the bill may significantly change the noise situation in Ukrainian cities. The introduction of new norms, if adopted, aims to improve the quality of life for residents, reduce noise pollution levels, and support public order in a complex socio-political situation.
