Court Claims 28 Million UAH for Poor Quality Body Armor: Details of the Case.
According to inkorr.com: The Commercial Court satisfied the claim of the regional military administration in the amount of 28.2 million UAH. This lawsuit was initiated by the Volyn Regional Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv due to the supply of poor-quality body armor and combat helmets. The court found that the products did not meet established quality standards and ruled for compensation of this amount.
Established Violations
Prosecutors established that in April 2022, the company supplied 884 body armor and 846 combat helmets that did not meet quality requirements.
Additionally, earlier the court imposed a fine of 5.6 million UAH on the LLC in favor of the regional military administration for similar violations. Over the past year, enterprises have been under active control regarding the quality of supplied goods to ensure the safety of military personnel.
Thus, the court ruling is an important step in protecting the interests of the military and increasing requirements for suppliers in the field of military equipment and gear.
