New taste sensations from Dairy Milk

The first information about this limited edition appeared in the Newfoodsuk group on Facebook, where food enthusiasts shared the news.

In one post, it was noted:

“Choc Malt Shake Dairy Milk Breakaway Bars are back at B&M Stores”
. Users actively commented, expressing their desire to try the new product:
“I need to try these”
,
“YES! These are my favourite!”
and
“Yum, these look delicious.”

It’s about the Cadbury Dairy Milk Breakaway Choc Malt Shake bar, which unexpectedly appeared on store shelves and thrilled chocolate lovers.

This bar, made in Australia from local and imported ingredients, combines classic Dairy Milk chocolate with a wafer-chocolate core. Some shoppers believe it is similar to Cadbury Caramilk Breakaway and KitKat Chunky Milo.

TikToker @russ_eats, who conducted a taste test of the bar, noted that the taste reminds him of both of these Australian novelties. He rated the Choc Malt Shake a nine out of ten and described it as

“way more intense in choc multiness”
, adding that it is
“f***ing awesome”
.

A representative from Mondelēz International told The Sun that the bar is not part of Cadbury's official range in the UK, stating:

“The Cadbury Dairy Milk Breakaway Choc Malt Shake bar is available in other markets and is not sold directly by Cadbury in the UK.”

They added:

“We are always listening to our fans to ensure our range of products reflects their changing taste buds and we have our own product innovation pipeline in the UK, so watch this space for delicious new Cadbury treats coming soon.”

The chocolate market situation

The discovery of this chocolate at B&M occurred against a backdrop of several rare Cadbury imports that recently appeared in discount stores. Last week, shoppers found Dairy Milk Bubbly, Moro Bites, and Egyptian Mandolins at Farmfoods at attractive prices.

Fans consider these discoveries part of the joy of bargain shopping, as different countries often produce unique versions of well-known chocolates, which are sometimes supplied to UK supermarkets through importers.

According to social media, a new festive flavour of KitKat - Gingerbread has recently appeared in UK supermarkets, which has already been dubbed the perfect Christmas treat. A limited batch of KitKat with gingerbread was spotted at Sainsbury's for £2.20 for a pack of eight bars.

This allows shoppers to enjoy festive delights without significant expenses, as each bar will cost approximately 28 pence.
