According to The Sun: Shoppers went wild when they found a BBQ for just 34p instead of £39 during a huge summer sale at Asda.
One shopper shared her find in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
The savvy shopper bought the BBQ for only 34pFacebook She spotted this deal at her local AsdaAsdaThe shopper wrote:
"BBQ of the day - 34p instead of £39, as marked in price."
On the Asda website, the BBQ costs £39, but it is currently out of stock, so it may only be found in stores.
Aside from the BBQ, she also found summer and garden items at clever prices.
- Lawn fertilizers - 98p;
- GroSure lawn seeds - 10p;
- Evergreen Complete 4 in 1 - £1.43;
- Grill topper - 68p;
- Solar garden lights - only 23p.
The woman also scored discounts on kids' toys: a bubble gun for 38p, colored cutlery for just 16p, an inflatable pool for 48p, a water bottle for 16p, and a Lego Minecraft set for £2.25.
Other shoppers also rushed to share their finds.
One noted:
"I just bought some things too! Sleeping bags - £1.78, double inflatable beds - £1.58, air pumps - 68p and more! Perfect for my relatives who often go camping."
Another added:
"Wow, great finds and amazing discounts at Asda!"
These discounts are part of Asda's summer sale, where prices on outdoor toys, camping, and garden supplies are being reduced.
One shopper in Nottingham bought a Disney-themed inflatable pool for £3.60, reduced from £14.47, while another found a sand and water table for £2.48 - just a fraction of its original price.

Asda has also slashed prices on big items to incredibly low levels.
Shoppers reported that the supermarket reduced the price of the Sportspower 10FT Quad Lok trampoline from £149 to just £30 at a local discount store.
This trampoline, with a galvanized steel frame, padded posts and internal safety net, used to cost £129 online before the discounts.
However, in some stores, lucky shoppers could buy it for less than the cost of food delivery.
With such offers, supplies quickly fly off the shelves, and once they're gone, they’re gone.
