Switzerland allocated 76 million francs for the restoration of Ukraine: detailed projects.
According to inkorr.com: Switzerland decided to support Ukraine in the restoration of residential infrastructure and railway transport. During a meeting with the Delegate of the Swiss Federal Council for Ukraine, Ambassador Jacques Gerber, specific projects were discussed for which 76 million Swiss francs were allocated.
In particular, a new plant is planned to be established in Kremenchuk for the production of fasteners for European standard tracks and for the manufacture of contact wires for railways. In the field of residential construction, the construction of modular houses for military personnel in Vinnytsia and Sumy regions is planned, as well as the replacement of windows in damaged buildings in Kharkiv and other regions close to the front line.
Work on the implementation of these projects is planned to start in October, as they have been included in the Unified Project Portfolio. There is also a possibility of further cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland aimed at attracting Swiss grants for the development of public-private partnerships.
This support will be an important step in restoring infrastructure in Ukraine, which has been harmed by the conflict. Cooperation with Switzerland opens new opportunities for modernizing housing and transport, which will contribute not only to improving living conditions for the population but also to the development of the country's economy.
