IMF to send mission to Ukraine: what the negotiations will be about at the end of August.
Ukraine is preparing to receive a mission from the International Monetary Fund at the end of August. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram.

Svyrydenko said that today she met for the first time with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva in her new role. She thanked Georgieva for the support and sympathy following the rocket attack on Kyiv.
According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine, along with its international partners, is working on financial solutions amid the war and continues reforms. 'We are awaiting the arrival of the IMF mission to Kyiv at the end of August. Months of intense work and negotiations await us. We hope for support and adhere to our commitments,' emphasized Yulia Svyrydenko.
Additional financial assistance from the IMF
The Prime Minister also noted that Ukraine may need additional financial assistance from the IMF due to the upcoming expiration of the previous credit program. Moreover, the IMF requires the adoption of a taxation law for 23% on the sale of goods by citizens through online platforms.
Ukraine is expecting the visit of the IMF mission at the end of August. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko spoke about plans for cooperation with the fund, not ruling out the possibility of receiving additional financial assistance and fulfilling the requirements regarding the taxation of online trading by Ukrainians.
