Oleg Mykolaiovych Didenko - Chairman of the Central Election Commission since October 4, 2019.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on May 8, 1980 in Sniatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. In 2002, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. In 2019, he completed the Institute of Public Administration and Management of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine (Master's degree). PhD candidate and researcher at the National Academy of Internal Affairs (since 2018).

In 2018, he completed an international internship to ensure effective investigations of electoral fraud and its prevention (European Center of Electoral Support, Italy).

Career. From 2003 to 2014, he worked as an assistant to deputies David Schwanija, Mykola Katerynchuk, Roman Besmertnyj, Wladyslaw Kaskiw and Valerij Ishchenko.

In 2007, he worked in the Central Executive Committee of the People's Union Our Ukraine as a legal advisor and deputy head of the legal department.

From 2007-2010, he was the director of LLC 'Legal Group Collegium'.

From 2008-2014, he was engaged in private legal practice.

In 2012, he obtained a lawyer's license.

During the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2007 and 2012, he was an authorized representative of the political party Our Ukraine in the nationwide multi-member electoral district.

In April 2014, he was appointed a member of the Central Election Commission from the quota of the party Strength.

On October 4, 2019, he was appointed a member of the Central Election Commission and elected Chairman of the Central Election Commission on the same day. The Servant of the People faction delegated him to the new CEC.
