Sergei Vladimirovich Pawlinsky

Date of Birth: 14.10.1966

Sergei Vladimirovich Pawlinsky - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the V, VI, VII, and VIII convocations (2006-2019). From March 5 to June 10, 2014, he held the position of head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the Rivne region. In 1991, he graduated from the M. Gorky Pedagogical Institute in Kyiv.

Career. Until 1999, he worked in various commercial structures. According to the Central Election Commission, at the time of the 1998 parliamentary elections, he was the president of the JSC 'Trading House of the Bank of Ukraine'.

1999-2000 - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oshchadbank.

In 2002, he ran for the Ukrainian Parliament from the political parties' block 'Against All' (No. 12 on the list). The candidacy was withdrawn.

From February to August 2005 - Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.

From August 2005 to January 2006 - General Director of the state company 'Ukrreserv'.

From May 2006 to June 2007 - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the V Congress of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc (No. 101 on the electoral list). Chairman of the Subcommittee on Strategic Issues of Industry Development and Investments in the Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament for Fuel and Energy Issues, Nuclear Policy, and Nuclear Safety.

2007-2012 - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VI Congress of the BYuT (No. 73 on the list). Member of the Parliamentary Committee for Nuclear Power Plants, Nuclear Policy, and Nuclear Safety. Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Tymoshenko on issues of nuclear power plants (on a public basis), member of the board of the Ministry of Energy and Coal of Ukraine.

From December 2012 to November 2014 - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VII Congress of the 'Fatherland' party (No. 27 on the list). Deputy faction leader 'Fatherland'. Member of the Parliamentary Committee for Fuel and Energy Issues, Nuclear Policy, and Nuclear Safety.

During Euromaidan in the winter of 2013-2014, he was involved in the organizational preparation of protests. At the end of January, a seizure was imposed on movable and immovable property of Pawlinsky and several other opposition deputies of the Ukrainian Parliament who participated in Euromaidan, in connection with a lawsuit filed by the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine for compensation for damages after activists of the Maidan self-defense seized the House of Trade Unions and the October Palace in Kyiv.

On March 5, 2014, by decree of the acting President of Ukraine, Alexander Turchynov, Pawlinsky was appointed as the acting head of the Presidential Administration. In March, Turchynov also appointed Pawlinsky as a member of the supervisory board of the state concern 'Ukroboronprom'.

On June 10, 2014, the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, relieved Pawlinsky of his duties as acting head of the Presidential Administration and appointed Boris Lozhkin as his successor.

In the early elections in October 2014, Pawlinsky was elected as a People's Deputy and joined the Ukrainian Parliament on the list of the People's Front (under No. 12). He was the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense.

Member of the People's Front party.

In the early parliamentary elections of 2019, he ran in the 64th electoral district (Zhytomyr region). According to the election results, he lost in the district.
