Vita Alexandrovna Semerenko - a Ukrainian biathlete, honored master of sports of Ukraine, member of the Ukrainian national team, Olympic champion in the relay, and bronze medalist in the sprint at the Sochi Olympics, six-time medalist at World Championships, medalist at the Junior European Championships, silver medalist at the Junior World Championship, bronze and silver medalist at the Junior World Championships, multiple champion of the Ukrainian championships.

Vita Semerenko began like her sister Valentina initially with skiing, but later she accepted the coach Hryhoriy Shamrai's offer and tried her hand at biathlon.

On January 7, 2009 she won the first relay race in a team with Olena Pidhrushna, Valya Semerenko and Oksana Khvostenko in the World Cup event in Oberhof. This was the first victory for the Semerenko sisters in relay races.

Biathlon World Championship 2013 (Nove Mesto na Morave) - second place in the relay race in a team with Yulia Dzhima, Valya and Vita Semerenko, and Olena Pidrushna.
Winter Games in Sochi 2014 - silver medal in the sprint over 7.5 km. Semerenko originally came in third, but in 2017 the silver medalist Olga Vilukhina was disqualified due to doping. This was the first medal won by Ukrainian athletes at the 22nd Olympic Winter Games.
At the Biathlon World Championship 2019 and 2020, she won bronze medals in relay races.

Family. Married. Husband Andriy Patsyuk (1984 born), former midfielder of the football club Yavor (Krasnopole). In September 2016 she gave birth to her son Mark.
