During the weigh-in ceremony in Texas, fans cheered for Tyson and booed Paul. Tyson weighed in at 103.6 kg, while Paul was 103.1 kg.
When Paul and Tyson met face-to-face, the latter punched his opponent. This was likely due to Paul stepping on Tyson's toe with his sneakers. Tyson was only in socks. However, he did not explain the reason for his punch, simply stating: 'The talk is over.'
Jake Paul has 9 wins and 1 loss to Tommy Fury, Tyson's half-brother. Tyson, for his part, is preparing for his first professional fight since 2005. He also participated in an exhibition match in 2020 when he faced Roy Jones Jr. and the fight ended in a draw.
It is worth noting that Mike Tyson will earn approximately 20 million dollars for this fight against Jake Paul.
