New formula for calculating gas delivery charges: how to determine payments for 2026.
Determining gas delivery costs
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainians can independently calculate their gas delivery expenses for 2026, taking into account their gas consumption during the 'gas year', which lasts from October 1 of the current year to September 30 of the next year.
To conduct such calculations, you need to take the total amount of gas consumed during this period, multiply it by the delivery tariff in your region, and divide the resulting number by 12 months. This value will be your monthly payment for gas delivery in 2026, which depends on the volume of consumption.
Important aspects of gas payment
Punctual payment of utilities is mandatory, and it is also necessary to regularly submit meter readings. It is worth noting that the price of gas for the population will remain stable until May 2026. The free gas program for frontline regions will also be extended until May 2026.
The calculations mentioned will help Ukrainians better plan their utility expenses in the future. Despite changes in the gas market, supporting frontline regions remains an important aspect of the state's social policy.
