Electricity transmission tariffs will rise: who will be affected by the changes this time.
The NEURC approved tariffs for NEC 'Ukrenergo' for electricity until 2025
According to the regulator's decision, the electricity transmission tariff will be 686.23 UAH/MWh, and for 'green' metallurgy enterprises - 359.55 UAH/MWh.
The dispatcher management tariff is set at 98.97 UAH/MWh. The cost of electricity transmission will be 0.69 UAH per kilowatt-hour, and dispatching will be 0.10 UAH.
Compared to 2024, the transmission tariff will increase by 0.16 UAH/kWh, while the dispatcher management tariff will decrease by 0.005 UAH/kWh.
The regulator supported the company's proposals for financing expenditures in 2025 and accounted for the underfunding of previous periods at 2.7 billion UAH. This will allow 'Ukrenergo' to partially repay debts to market participants.
Operational costs account for less than 11% of the company's total cost structure. The largest impact on costs comes from the implementation of the PSO, procurement of reserves, servicing of IFI loans, and settlements in the electricity market.
It is important to note that the change in 'Ukrenergo' tariffs will not affect the electricity price for the population.
