New Rule Lets Military Enlistment Offices Pause Employee Reservations for Up to 72 Hours.
Reservation Rules During Wartime
According to Novyny.live: Starting April 1, Ukraine has introduced stricter checks on employee reservations at critical enterprises. Under the updated regulations, a Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC) can now halt the reservation process for up to three days. This measure aims to reduce abuse and improve oversight in the system.
Although TCCs do not directly handle the reservation process, they now have the authority to intervene temporarily. Automated cross-checks with tax and pension databases will also be conducted to verify the status of critical enterprises and their reserved employees, increasing transparency.
Key Reservation Rules
It is important to note that employees who are on a wanted list cannot be reserved. This rule is designed to strengthen security and legal compliance during the war. According to Yurii Ayvazian,
“You must wait 72 hours. If during that time the TCC does not put you on the wanted list, the reservation should be approved.”
This highlights the critical role of timelines and procedures in the reservation process.
The updated rules introduce additional control measures to ensure that resources in critical sectors are used more effectively during wartime. Enhanced verification and automatic data matching with state registries are expected to curb potential abuses, thereby supporting the stable operation of essential industries.
These changes underscore the importance of maintaining legal order and security in the country amid ongoing hostilities. By tightening oversight, the government aims to protect both national interests and the integrity of the reservation system.
