Badosa was very upset when a pelvic injury forced her to withdraw from the match at the China Open against Karolina Muchova.

Later, she announced that she would not return to tennis this year due to tough times.

The world number 23 wrote on social media: “There are moments when I ask myself how I continue to push through the toughest, most painful moments.”

According to information from the Spanish magazine Hola, they broke up after exiting Wimbledon and mutually unfollowing each other on Instagram.
