Prices for insulation materials have risen by 20%: what to expect from the construction market.
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, since the beginning of 2025, prices for thermal and waterproofing materials have risen by 15-20%, but demand for these products has remained stable. This was stated by Oleksandr Manuylo, head of the sales department of Sweetondale, in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
'In 2025, there were several price increases in the thermal and waterproofing materials segment - overall by 15-20% depending on the product category. This is the first time in four years of war and is mainly related to the rise in prices for energy resources, equipment, and raw materials imported from outside Ukraine,' explained Manuylo.
According to the company's information, the demand for thermal and waterproofing materials remains stable, and in some sales channels, it is even noticeably increasing. Despite active hostilities, industrial logistics complexes continue to develop, and the thermomodernization of the old housing stock is ongoing.
Funding problems for the restoration and construction of new facilities
Manuylo also noted that in 2025, there is a shortage of funding for international restoration programs, particularly from USAID. However, the company continues to support the construction of state projects and fortification facilities.
The rise in prices for thermal and waterproofing materials raises concerns about the availability of construction materials for the population and enterprises in the industry. Nevertheless, stable demand for these products indicates a constant need for construction and insulation materials in Ukraine.
